foamsandwich 1.0 was based on the baron lowracer geometry. i designed 2.0 for a more day to day use, more upright and with suspension. wooden leafsprings are recycled bed parts.

racing in velodrome
recently i raced foamsandwich 1.0 on the alkmaar velodrome. exactly ten years ago (in the spring of 2000) i built this bike within 5 days on a 75 euro budget! It was a little flimsy but only 11 kg. after one day of testing i decided to take it out on a 10 day trip through holland, denmark, sweden and germany.
